 Evaluate and surveys the hospital wide operational and non operational
process for identifying opportunities to improve patient’s care and safety.
 Developed, Implemented SOPs for Clinical and non- Clinical areas across the

procedures suggesting the management over accreditation standards based
on national and international benchmarks.
 Developed the system to collect and analyze the monthly departmental
indicators with support of IT

PROFILE
 Identify and monitor the key Quality Indicators in various departments along
with trend analysis for probable improvement in services affecting patients
and staff.
 Ensure all emergency code plans are in place, effective training done and
followed by conduct of periodic mock drills.
 Committee coordinator – Quality Assurance committee, Pharmaco &
therapeutic Committee, Audit Committee, Hospital Infection control
Committee.
 Formulating root causes analysis of all incidents & sentinels events and
prepare CAPA on the same.
 Data collection, analysis, and prompting of process improvement projects in
response to incidents, patient complaints, and process errors.
 Monitoring critical clinical quality standards like infection control practices,
medication errors, patient fall, bed sore etc & take appropriate corrective
steps.
 Conduct regular audits in departments under supervision.
 Ensuring in support of Nursing Superintendent that proper nursing care is
given to patients and organizational service standards aremaintained.
 To achieve optimum patient satisfaction score & work towardimprovement.
 Ensuring maintenance of legal compliances associated with medical
practices.

Accreditation Responsibilities
 To set a structured processes and standards to achieveaccreditation.
 Conduct necessary awareness training for all departments.
 Coordinate necessary document generation and collation from different
department heads.
 Review all departmental manuals to ensure that they are in line with the

 Set up, coordinate and activate various audit committees to test check
processes.
Medical Responsibilities
 In-house and Visiting Consultants coordination
 Coordinate with in house and outside consultants for smooth functioning of
OPDs/Indoor patient services.
 Consultant Management (OPD management, OT scheduling, resolving queries,
aid in interdepartmental coordination/communication, coordinate camps in
support with the marketing team)
 Arrangement of emergency on call schedule on weekly basis
 Diagnostic Monitoring function & performance of diagnostic departments
(pathology, radiology, endoscopy, pulmonary etc). Coordinating with HR & COO
for manpower, equipment & other resource optimization.
 Physiotherapist Recruitment, Training, duty allocation supervision, preparing on
call list, monitoring performance, discipline etc
 Coordinate with all clinical departments for smooth functioning including
manpower, training, coordination between departments, budge
 Biomedical Department –biomedical engineer,technicians- Recruitment,
Training, duty allocation supervision, preparing on call list, monitoring
performance, discipline etc
 Biomedical equipment selection, rented, updated or upgradation, evaluation
and maintain proper log book of equipment.
 All Technician (Pathology, Radiology, Cathlab, Dialysis, Echo, TMT, PFT, EEG,)
Administration, Recruitment, Training, duty allocation supervision, preparing on
call list, monitoring performance, discipline etc.
 Coordinate with emergency team for all MLC cases received at the hospital.
 Ensuring maintenance of legal compliances associated with medical practices
Like AERB,RSO,TLD,PNDT,MTP,Cornea transplant, Notifiable disease reporting
 Ensuring proper biomedical waste management as per government norms.
 Monitor and facilitate the compliance for all medical services in the unit.
 Monitoring timely completion of MRD files.
 Facilitate and streamlining of complete billing and TPA process (from pre-
authorization to discharge).
 Promotion of In house and visiting consultants by organizing CMEs/Health
Talks/Camps
 Do analysis of OPDs, Admissions, and ALOS on monthly basis.
People Responsibilities
 Assist HR team in hiring and retaining key staff such as doctors
 Advise unit in-charge to conduct on job training & continuous education for
staff.
 Evaluate/ oversee the work performance of the departments under command.
 Sanction/ Recommend leave for personnel under command.
 Counsel staff on personal and work problems.
 Ensure succession plans in place for departments under command.
 Set and review KRAs for departmental staffs.
