Profile
More than 26 years of experiences in oil and gas exploration and production as a reservoir geologist. Skills include:
 Building and updating complex reservoir 3D geomodels that integrates petrophysical, seismic interpretation, core
and log data as well as sequence stratigraphy and depositional models using PETREL software.
 Highly experienced in working within multi-disciplinary Asset Team including geophysicists, petrophysicists
Exploitation and Production Engineers in close collaboration to ensure full data integration of all inputs to the
geomodel and to meet dynamic simulation modelling requirements.
 Skills in reservoir key uncertainty parameters identification and uncertainty analysis to define P10, P50 and P90 oil
and gas volumetric scenarios. Achieved geomodelling inputs to Full Field Development Plan.
 Heavily involved in yearly Volumetric assessment and update including risk analysis, mitigation and provided
geological inputs for economic evaluations.
 Highly skilled in identifying by-passed oil using 3D geomodels built in Petrel and recommending potential infill
drilling opportunities to maximize reservoir lateral and vertical sweep efficiency. Well planning and follow-up
while drilling to ensure well trajectory reach the planned target.
 Excellent Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse
personalities, functional groups and senior level staff. Large exposure to multicultural working environment.
 Skills in oral communication and technical presentation during meeting with joint venture companies or
management (workshops, TCM, etc...).

 Experience in preparing all technical documents related to scope of work, tendering, bids evaluation and contracts
for logging and reservoir geology studies.

Skills & Abilities
Geo-modelling ofsubsurface oil and gas reservoir
 Built 3D static geo-model of three major oil reservoirs in United Arab Emirates totalizing a daily production of
550000 Barrels of oil per day using PETREL software. Achieved successfully the biggest static geo-model in
ADCO company history totalizing 138 million grid blocks. Models were approved by shareholders during formal
technical workshops and were adopted for dynamic modeling and for the elaboration of the full field development
plan.
 Awarded company certificate of achievement for building 3D static model of the biggest onshore oil field in
United Arab Emirates that added 1.5 Billion barrels of oil in place that were subsequently proven through dynamic
simulation.

 Achieved constructing eight sector geo-models as part of a mega Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project worth 1.2
Billion dollars of investment in a record time of eight months as per project timeline. Sector models were approved
by shareholders and considered as instrumental in overall project progress.
 Accomplished corporate resources evaluation and review through Reservoir key uncertainty parameters
identification and uncertainty analysis to define P10, P50 and P90 oil volumetric scenarios.
Multidisciplinary data integration
 Integrated data from multidisciplinary sources such as petrophysics, geophysics, reservoir geology, sequence
stratigraphy, depositional environment models and production to build coherent 3D static geo-model.
 Demonstrated high analytical skills in conducting geological data QA/QC and validation prior to integrated full
field major studies such as sequence stratigraphy framework and reservoir rock type project.
Projects planning, resourcesmanagement and leadership
 Lead Geology / Geophysics Studies Group consisting of eight members including geo-modelers, petrophysicits,
geophysicists and sedimentologists.
 Established a master work plan for the whole group for 5 years integrated with the other business segments
(operations, petroleum and reservoir engineering) and that take into account projects priorities and dependency,
corporate objectives and available resources.
 Coordinated and followed-up all G&G studies and projects through organizing and leading meetings to discuss
progress status of all studies and projects and help overcome critical issues.
Communication and technical presentation
 Established efficient communication channels with involved departments and staff members ensuring good
coordination and flow of data.
 Presented to management and during industry shareholders technical meetings work progress and main results.
 Secured shareholders’ approval during milestone meetings related to major projects progress and results.
Coaching, mentoring and staffdevelopment
 Performed coaching and mentoring of young geoscientist as per detailed corporate development plans.
 Appointed in the position of a senior assessor and verifier of young geoscientists ensuring that their individual
development plans are reaching pre-specified targets.

Skills & Abilities Geo-modelling ofsubsurface oil and gas reservoir  Built 3D static geo-model of three major oil reservoirs in United Arab Emirates totalizing a daily production of 550000 Barrels of oil per day using PETREL software. Achieved successfully the biggest static geo-model in ADCO company history totalizing 138 million grid blocks. Models were approved by shareholders during formal technical workshops and were adopted for dynamic modeling and for the elaboration of the full field development plan.  Awarded company certificate of achievement for building 3D static model of the biggest onshore oil field in United Arab Emirates that added 1.5 Billion barrels of oil in place that were subsequently proven through dynamic simulation.
  • 2. 2  Achieved constructing eight sector geo-models as part of a mega Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project worth 1.2 Billion dollars of investment in a record time of eight months as per project timeline. Sector models were approved by shareholders and considered as instrumental in overall project progress.  Accomplished corporate resources evaluation and review through Reservoir key uncertainty parameters identification and uncertainty analysis to define P10, P50 and P90 oil volumetric scenarios. Multidisciplinary data integration  Integrated data from multidisciplinary sources such as petrophysics, geophysics, reservoir geology, sequence stratigraphy, depositional environment models and production to build coherent 3D static geo-model.  Demonstrated high analytical skills in conducting geological data QA/QC and validation prior to integrated full field major studies such as sequence stratigraphy framework and reservoir rock type project.
