This document provides guidance on creating a sample resume for a student by listing common resume sections and posing questions about resume best practices. Students are instructed to include creative job titles for chores and responsibilities, as well as made up company names and contact information, as some resumes may be posted publicly. The document also provides a sample resume objective and prompts students to include education history, skills, hobbies, awards, volunteer experience, and answers common resume questions.

1. Resume Questions
In the first column, list the ideas that are requested. In the second column list a creative
way you could say it. I’ve given you a suggestion in each area. (Please remember that
some of the finished resumes will be posted in the hall so you don’t want to put your real
address, phone number, and e-mail.)
Please remember that on your resume, you should not abbreviate the names of
businesses or schools.
