 Responsible for a 78 physician multispecialty group practice with over 30 locations
 Managed a $70 Million budget
 Created a Medicare Advantage joint venture composed of the multispecialty group
practice and a national top 10 payor
 Participated with local ACO for 14,000 assigned Medicare lives.
 Operated a $12 Million diagnostic center as part of the multispecialty group practice
 Established a new sleep lab in conjunction with a new 12,000 square foot medical office

 Responsible for operations of a 33 physician cardiology group with 6 locations and 4
diagnostic centers through the region
 Implemented a productivity-based compensation model which increased physician
productivity by 23%
 Established a new cardiology service to the Hampton area in conjunction with Sentara
 Developed the group’s first strategic plan and budget
 Managed a $20 Million operating budget
 Re-engineered the entire practice structure to make the group more responsive to
financial and reimbursement constraints, to include revenue cycle management and

 Responsible for day-to-day operations of a 67 physician multi-specialty group
 Responsible for the planning and construction of a 204,000 square foot Medical Office

 Successfully merged six local physician practices into Blair Medical Associates, resulting in
19 additional physicians added to the organization
 Recruited more than 25 new physicians to provide growth and fill retiring physician slots
 Manage a $42 Million operating budget
 Implemented an Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire practice and all
locations
 Transitioned the practice to operate in a managed care environment
 Developed a Scorecard for evaluating physician cost effectiveness and resource
consumption
 Reorganized the departmental structure to accommodate the ongoing changes in the
healthcare industry
 Responsible for strategic planning process by facilitating retreats and carrying out the

 Organized thirteen satellite facilities to achieve greater geographic coverage and set
