Responsible for coding Outpatient Ancillaries, Outpatient Preopts, Rehabs (Physical,
Speech, and Occupational Therapies, Radiation/Oncology, and Cardiology Records.
Trained in I-10 and PCS since June 2011, with weekly testing and audits.
Previously coded medical charts in ICD-9-CM and CPT Coding using 3-M Software.
Responsible for coding Outpatient Ancillaries, Outpatient Preopts, Rehabs (Physical,

70, PT, and CCE Edits.
Each Queue has to be coded from on a daily basis, maintaining a ninety-five percent
accuracy rate. In addition, the target goal must be maintained at coding fifteen charts per
hour. Audit weekly reports to see which queue is delinquent due to unsigned orders, and
unsigned plan of care. Evaluate charts to make sure Medicare requirements are met. In
addition, create coding queries to get proper documentation for diagnosis, procedures,
and signatures on all orders. Attend coding roundtables and seminars for education
regarding new coding guidelines and procedures for infusions and injections. Train and
educate students currently enrolled in HealthCare Management. Educate departments on
procedures, proper documentation and coding guidelines.
