LLP specializing in architecture, MEP engineering, interiors and preservation with
average revenues of $9 million (FY2009 - FY20 14) and servicing multiple sectors
including: Private Development, Governmental, Healthcare, Education, Cultural,
Civic, Commercial & Non-For-Profit;
> Maintaining fiscal reporting compliance mandated by public sector clients at the local
(NYCSCA, NYCDDC, NYCDOE, NYCMTA, CU NY), state (DASNY, PANYNJ, SUCF)
and federal (USGSA, USPS) levels;
> Overseeing the daily functions of the following departments: Accounting, Human
Resource, Information Technologies, Administration and Reprographics;
> Presenting to management periodic financial statements wI variance analyses
created under both the accrual (GAAP) and income tax bases of accounting;
> Providing timely cost reports per project to Operations sector to enable PMs to
proactively manage the profitability of all active jobs;
> Offering adequate, cost-effective health insurance coverage to an employee base
totaling 60 persons through negotiations with insurance brokers / carriers;
> Analyzing and procuring appropriate commercial insurance coverages such as
workers compensation, professional liability, general office, inland marine and auto;
> Managing multiple bank accounts and LOC and overseeing all bank-related issues;
> Effectively managing cash flow to ensure funds availability to cover both fixed and
variable operating expenses plus discretionary consultant payments;
> Expediting requisitions to clients and aggressively pursuing timely collection of same;
> Working w/ Paylocity to ensure its meeting of all responsibilities handled by a full-
service payroll provider (including filing of forms 941 and 945);
> Acting as liaison with 401(k) plan administrator to ensure proper treatment of fund
rollovers, distributions, loans / repayments, investment elections, form 5500 filing
and ERISA compliance (converted Plan from trustee-directed to participant-directed);
> Handling all audit issues (standard Y/E audit, workers compensation, sales tax and
DOL audits) including providing accurate and timely data to facilitate audit firm’s
filing of all necessary tax returns plus creation of partners’ K-I statements;
> Acting as liaison with independent law firm on issues ranging from amendments to
partnership agreements to creation of Joint Venture affiliations;
> Successfully defending the LLP in NY Civil Court while acting as a defendant pro se;
> Undertaking the role of ethics officer thus being responsible for documenting and
responding to employee complaints on a case-by-case basis;

processing, variance analysis and reporting for new construction, expansions and

and build-to-suit utilizing both the GC and in-house / out-sourced CM methodologies;
> Maintained numerous budgeting templates for Loews’ standard and flagship prototypes;
