2. Project Experience
Project 1: Created and delivered job aids as training materials for one of the world's leading ocean carriers providing global
container shipping services. The team size was more than 10. Team coordination and SME (Subject Matter Expert)
interaction played a vital role.
Project 2: Created and delivered simulations using Adobe Captivate, user manuals, and job aids for a UK based
biopharmaceutical company. This was a smaller team with 3 members. Taking up ownership of the training materials and
interacting with the SME were more than crucial.
(Won the Bravo award for my contributions to this project)
Project 3: Created, edited, and delivered simulations using UPK (User Productivity Kit) and CAPA (CA Productivity
Accelerator) for a multinational consumer goods company. The team consisted only an SID (Senior Instructional Designer)
and myself, an ID (Instructional Designer) excluding the Project Manger. Added responsibility and interacting with the
client came into picture here.
Project 4: We worked for the same client mentioned in Project 3 but a different client representative, with completely
different requirements. ILT decks were created in English for an I-pad application and the users were sales representatives.
Further, these ILT decks had to be translated to four different languages, so the offshore team (4 members) took care of the
screen shots and a team from the client's side took care of the content. Mac had to be used to remotely access the I-pad
application.
Project 3 (Phase 2): The project 3 work resumed after a long break. This requires a mention because this time it was just me
in the project, so client interaction, creating / editing UPK simulations, delivering them and getting them signed off had to
be taken care by me. This situation helped me with additional clarity.
Project 5: Created and delivered quick tips and storyboards for a leading provider of well completion services. This was an
SAP implementation project, the team consisted of more than 15 members located at different regions. Team coordination,
following the process and SME interaction were pivotal.
Project 6 (Current): Testing e-learning courses for SCORM compliance using ADL Test Suite and at times, manually.
Testing the e-learning courses in Learning Management Systems such as Success Factor and Cornerstone for an American
multinational retail corporation.
