RESPONSIBILITY OF PROJECTS:
Coordinating with customer and clients.
Quality control plans prepared/reviewed and approved
Verification of isometric drawing with respect to P&ID
Received Material Inspection.
Raising RFI’s for each item of work completed and attendance at site for witness/hold points
Ensure Line Pipes, Fittings and Valves, Gaskets, bolts & nuts materials are receive -inspected
as per the Inspection and Test Plan.
Ensure Dimensional stability to AFC drawing, Materials spec, heat numbers, mechanical
properties to drawing and material test certificate.
Ensure Line pipes are cut using existing hot and/or cold cutting process as per cutting plan
and or to current AFC drawing.
Ensure edge preparations are carried out and the bevel is clean and the bevel angle is
checked prior to fit-up as per QCP/ITP.
Preparation and submission of daily site inspection/activities report
Ensure ISO spool fit-up is carried out and the fit up is made by competent pipe fitters. Ensure
the pipe fitter has the right tools. Ensure no excess mis-alignment is allowed and the root
gap and the geometrical parameters are ensured as per AFC drawing, code and AFC WPS.
Sub-assembly and final dimensional inspection to the approved drawing
Ensure bolt torque is carried out at flanged joints as per procedure.
Ensure Pre- commissioning activities are met as air bubble leak test, pneumatic test, hydro
test, thickness check etc.
Prepare hydro test packages, line checks and punch listing.
Control of Non conformities
To checking and clear the punch list.
Conducted the pneumatic test, hydro test, and flushing & system layup.
Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.
Making of Reinstatement Punch list and clearing the items.
Witnessing of flange Joint assembly.

Reinstatement inspection of completed /erected pipelines.
Inspecting of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping

Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.
Ensure blinds are removed and correct gaskets are installed.
Inspection of gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per latest
drawings for construction, code and specification standards
Prepared documents, procedures for inspection methods, inspection and testing plan in
computerized environment
Ensure the pipe spools are handled as per procedure and without damage.
Ensure NDT is fully carried out/accepted as per code.
Ensure the punch list is done and punch listed is attended properly.

Ensure a final piping line checks are carried out and all the valves open/close positions are
done in co-ordination with Commissioning Engineer. This shall be ensured that all piping
lines with correct ratings are available – ready for commissioning.
Monitoring calibration of inspection, measuring and testing equipment and submitting the
record to the QA/QC department.
