• Through Terberg Control System, Inspection & Maintenance of Gas Generators, which is the only
source of the Power at the Plant Site
• Attending daily jobs allotted by the Area Engineer like CM, PM Check, Alarm and Trip Checks.
• Check and calibrate the instruments for abnormal readings, field calibration of control valves.
• Check and service fire & gas and smoke detectors etc.
• Procurement of work permits and canceling them once the job is completed, coordinating with the
area control room operations and field operators while attending the jobs.
• Check the impulse tubing and fittings for any leaks and replace them if required.
• Installing electronic transmitters/Pneumatic and commissioning as per procedures.
• Checking the ESD loops as per procedures. Check the fire & gas and smoke detectors and alarms
and service the detectors.
• Ability to understand P& ID, Logic drawing, Hook up Plant Layout & Control Panel Drawing.
Shut Down Activities
• Attended five major Plant shut downs. Shut down activities are as under
• Replacing the old instruments with new ones as per the shutdown plan.
• Alarm and trip checks.
• Calibration of instruments like transmitters, level trolls, switches, stroke checking of control
valves, I/P Converters, Cleaning and Servicing of Field Instruments and field calibration if
required. Checking of temperature points and thermo wells and replace the temperature elements
and thermo wells if required.
