Note.

 For this part of the assignment, I decided to discuss
 this restaurant because I founded interesting, and I
 think this is a good case study.
Before I enter the 1st store

                                   Does the store draw you in? If
                                   so, how?
                                   - Yes, by the artificial food in the
                                   window display
                                   Is the door open or closed?
                                   - Open
                                   How does this make you feel?
                                   - Hungry suddenly and want dine in
                                   How big is the sign lettering
                                   and in what font?
                                   - Enough to be seen and with a cute
                                   font

                                   What does it tell you about the
                                   store?
                                   - All the food about curry
Environment

What is the color scheme of the store? How does this affect you?
- Green and wood. Feel warm.
What type of floor does the store have? How does this effect the
environment?
- Wood. I feel warm.
How high is the ceiling? How does this feel?
- The ceiling high, and it gives a plenty space to breathe and to explore.
How brightly lit is the store? How does this affect you?
- not so bright, and not so dark, a middle brightness.
How loud is the environment? A vague voice from japanese song.
What is causing the noise? song
 Is there music playing? If so, does it fit the environment?
  - Yes, it’s very fit. Japanese curry and Japanese song
  Is the store warm or cold?
  - Perfectly Warm
  Is the store crowed with merchandise or is it sparse?
  - Crowded in a certain point but sparse in the rest
  Does the store have a distinctive smell?
  - no
  Where is the cash register located?
  - before the exit door.
  How visible is the store security?
  - invisible I think
  How long do you want to stay in this store?
  - As long as I want to. I like to sit there and just chit-chat while having a
  good meals.
  Does the environment influence the perceived value of the merchandise?
  - Yes indeed.
Personnel

How long does it take before a sales person initiates contact?
- The sales person take in charge and offer a seat since the first time customer’s walk in.

Does the salesperson have a script to follow with each customer?
- yes.

Does the salesperson treat different customers differently?
- no.

What is the ratio of salespeople to customers?
- 1:3

What age and gender are the employees?
- 20-25 they are mostly women.

Are the salespeople using the store products?
- They use props like apron and hat.

Do the salespeople have a uniform? Yes

Do the salespeople match the stores image? Absolutely
Products

What is the first product that you notice? The food in the display window with curry
Is there a central display table with featured products? The artificial display food
where you can see from outside.
Where are items that are “for sale” located in the store? There is a special promo
printed in each person table as a paper placemat.
How are the products arranged? By function? By price? By color? The menu is
arranged by genre
Are there free samples or demonstrations? no
What products are at eye level? Very.
What items in the store are in the least accessible locations? -
Where are the most and least expensive products located? At the menu they are
located scattered.
Are the prices of the products easy to find? Yes.
Are there impulse items near the cash register? -
Customers:

Are most customers alone or with someone else? What is the relationship?
- With someone else.
What is the average age and gender of the customers?
- 15- 30 and mostly women.
When a customer enters the store, do they tend to walk in the same path or
direction? -
How long do customers stay in the store, on average? 1 hour
Do customer touch the products? Is this encouraged? -
Do most customers appear to be on a mission or are they browsing? In a mission.
What percent of customers purchase products in the store? 100% they will eat food
or even have a light food.

  • 2. Note.  For this part of the assignment, I decided to discuss this restaurant because I founded interesting, and I think this is a good case study.
  • 3. Before I enter the 1st store Does the store draw you in? If so, how? - Yes, by the artificial food in the window display Is the door open or closed? - Open How does this make you feel? - Hungry suddenly and want dine in How big is the sign lettering and in what font? - Enough to be seen and with a cute font Mr. Curry at Jakarta, Indonesia. What does it tell you about the store? - All the food about curry
  • 4. Environment What is the color scheme of the store? How does this affect you? - Green and wood. Feel warm. What type of floor does the store have? How does this effect the environment? - Wood. I feel warm. How high is the ceiling? How does this feel? - The ceiling high, and it gives a plenty space to breathe and to explore. How brightly lit is the store? How does this affect you? - not so bright, and not so dark, a middle brightness. How loud is the environment? A vague voice from japanese song. What is causing the noise? song

  • 6.  Is there music playing? If so, does it fit the environment? - Yes, it’s very fit. Japanese curry and Japanese song Is the store warm or cold? - Perfectly Warm Is the store crowed with merchandise or is it sparse? - Crowded in a certain point but sparse in the rest Does the store have a distinctive smell? - no Where is the cash register located? - before the exit door. How visible is the store security? - invisible I think How long do you want to stay in this store? - As long as I want to. I like to sit there and just chit-chat while having a good meals. Does the environment influence the perceived value of the merchandise? - Yes indeed.
  • 7. Personnel How long does it take before a sales person initiates contact? - The sales person take in charge and offer a seat since the first time customer’s walk in. Does the salesperson have a script to follow with each customer? - yes. Does the salesperson treat different customers differently? - no. What is the ratio of salespeople to customers? - 1:3 What age and gender are the employees? - 20-25 they are mostly women. Are the salespeople using the store products? - They use props like apron and hat. Do the salespeople have a uniform? Yes Do the salespeople match the stores image? Absolutely
  • 8. Products What is the first product that you notice? The food in the display window with curry Is there a central display table with featured products? The artificial display food where you can see from outside. Where are items that are “for sale” located in the store? There is a special promo printed in each person table as a paper placemat. How are the products arranged? By function? By price? By color? The menu is arranged by genre Are there free samples or demonstrations? no What products are at eye level? Very. What items in the store are in the least accessible locations? - Where are the most and least expensive products located? At the menu they are located scattered. Are the prices of the products easy to find? Yes. Are there impulse items near the cash register? -
  • 9. Customers: Are most customers alone or with someone else? What is the relationship? - With someone else. What is the average age and gender of the customers? - 15- 30 and mostly women. When a customer enters the store, do they tend to walk in the same path or direction? - How long do customers stay in the store, on average? 1 hour Do customer touch the products? Is this encouraged? - Do most customers appear to be on a mission or are they browsing? In a mission. What percent of customers purchase products in the store? 100% they will eat food or even have a light food.
