This document summarizes an online restaurant management system project. It was supervised by Arifa Sultana and submitted by Mahmuda Binte Habib, Abdullah Al Jweal, and Tauquir Ahmed. The purpose is to allow customers to order food online, pay online, and receive orders at home. It also aims to provide more user-friendly record updating, maintenance, and searching capabilities. The system has features like browsing products, viewing orders, and an admin dashboard. It uses Apache, MySQL, PHP, and XAMPP and has hardware requirements of at least 350MB RAM on a 32-bit OS. Future work may include customization options and saving payment details for future use.

2. Introduction
 Online Restaurant Management System is a process
of ordering food from a restaurant or food co-operative
through a web page or app. Much like ordering consumer
goods online, many of these allow customers to keep
accounts with them in order to make frequent ordering
convenient. A customer will search for a favorite
restaurant, usually filtered via type of cuisine and choose
from available items, and choose delivery or pick-up.

3. Objective
 A computer based management system is designed to
handle all the primary information required to calculate
monthly statement .
 This project intends to introduce more user friendliness in
the various activities such as record updating, maintenance
and searching.
 The searching of record has been made quite simple as all
the details of the customer can be obtain by simply keying
in the identification of that customer.

4. Purpose:
 The main purpose of the Online Restaurant Management
System is to reach to wider range of customers and to
educate them about existing and new packages and
discounts offered by restaurants .
 One more purpose is to allow customers to place order
online using interactive menu so that they can receive
order at home.
 Allow customer to pay online..
 This system reduces the time consumption.
 This project helps the management to know customers
order details in few seconds.

9. System facilities:
 The proposed system fulfills all the functions needed by
the management regarding database entries, customer
and payments details.
 System maintains all required information of the
customer, vendor, purchase payment details, sales details.
 System maintain backup of data base, import data,
export data to avoid loss of data.
 System maintains detail of the stock.
 The system allows the user to calculate any sort of
payment related calculations.
 Bills are also generated automatically.

 Allow customers to customize food orders and
reservation system.
 Allow to save payment details for future use.
 Allow to process an order as a Guest
 Allow to find and choose a nearby restaurant
 Integrate with in store touch screen devices like iPad.

30. Conclusion
This is achieved through an easy to use graphical
interface menu options. The users can add any number
of items to the cart from any of the available food
categories by simply clicking the Add to Cart button for
each item. Once item is added to the cart, user is
presented with detailed order to review or continue
shopping.
