2. Cipro
• Cipro is an antibiotic used to kill bacteria
causing respiratory infections
• It is used to treat the respiratory system for
lower respiratory tract infections
(LRTI), Chronic
Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and Sinusitis as
well as many other bacterial infections.
• Common side effects include
tendinitis, tendon
rupture, diarrhea, abdominal
pain, neurological events, rhinitis, and
rash.

3. Ventolin
• Ventolin is a bronchodialator which
relaxes muscle spasms in the bronchial
tubes.
• Ventolin is commonly used to treat
reversible obstructive airway disease,
Asthma
• Possible side effects include throat
irritation, viral respiratory infections,
upper respiratory inflammation, cough,
hoarseness, arrhythmias, hypokalemia
(low potassium), hypertension (high b/p),
angina (chest pain) and tremor

4. Afrin
• Afrin is a decongestant
• Afrin nasal spray is used to relieve nasal
discomfort caused by colds, allergies, and
hay fever. It is also used to relieve sinus
congestion and pressure.
• It is used to reduce stuffiness and
congestion throughout the respiratory
system.
• Side effects include burning, stinging,
increased nasal discharge, dryness inside
the nose, sneezing, nervousness, nausea,
dizziness, headache and difficulty falling
asleep or staying asleep
