different because Halloween is celebrated by children dressing up in costumes and going door to
door saying "trick or treat" in hopes that they get candy. This is different from the Day of the Dead

offering them food and drinks, and having a party. Another difference in how they are celebrated is
that during Halloween, children have the evening on October 31 to "trick or treat" around their

Visually, the movie is stunning and the animation is flawless. Even minor movements like falling or

I will need to research the Aztec life including their culture, heritage, and how they celebrated this
day. I need to ask myself if there were more than just altars, for example a ritual done by them. The
reason I ask myself that is because 2,000 to 3,000 years ago tribes were heavily influenced by rituals

Self Help Graphics, at Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez High School. This year's event was subtitled,

information booth, "the return of the souls," refers to the monarch butterflies that return every year
during the Day of the Dead celebration. With this as a subtheme, many artworks of butterflies

There are abundant risks in exploring other cultures from a strictly descriptive point of view,
especially when those descriptions do not originate from within the culture itself. External
descriptions are virtually always skewed in their interpretations of the meanings and purposes of
activities and traditions. When a person reads a portrayal of a culture other than their own, that
information is filtered through their own cultural view. They are unlikely to be able to see behaviors
and beliefs from the perspective of those that live them. For example, most people in the US are
