Region III, also known as Central Luzon, is an administrative region of the Philippines that includes the provinces of Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales. The region produces the most rice in the country, earning it the nickname "Rice Granary of the Philippines." It borders other regions to the north, south, and east. The City of San Fernando in Pampanga is the regional center. The region has a population made up of different ethnic groups including Tagalogs, Kapampangans, and others.
