the practice recommendations on Khan Academy will be based

► All future scores from the SAT Suite of Assessments will also be sent to
help customize a student’s practice and recommendations on
Khan Academy.

Three Levels of Concordance
When to Use This Concordance
► Use this concordance for tasks currently completed using an SAT Score
Total based on Critical Reading + Math.
EXAMPLE:
Use Total to Total for a program where a grade point average of 3.0 and 1040
(out of 1600) on the pre-March 2016 SAT meets a sliding scale for admission
without further review.
► Planned tables will include:
► 1600 to 1600 tables (looking at just the Critical Reading and Math scores on
the pre-March 2016 SAT and including ACT)
► 2400 to 1600 tables (and vice versa, including ACT)
Using Total to Total Tables
When to Use This Concordance
► Use this concordance for tasks currently completed using the score
from one single section of the pre-March 2016 SAT.
EXAMPLE:
Use Section to Section for placement into an honors math course that requires a
score of 600 or higher on the Math section of the pre-March 2016 SAT.
► Planned tables will include:
► Critical Reading + Writing to Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (and vice
versa)
► Math to Math Section (and vice versa)

When to Use This Concordance
► Use this concordance for tasks currently completed using the score
from just one section of the pre-March 2016 SAT.
EXAMPLE:
Students with pre-March 2016 SAT Critical Reading scores below 550 are
required to take a placement test before enrolling. Use Section to Test table for:
pre-March 2016 SAT Critical Reading Section → new SAT Reading Test
► Planned tables will include:
► Critical Reading to Reading Test (and vice versa)
► Writing to Writing and Language Test (and vice versa, including ACT)
► Math to Math Test (and vice versa)

How will we use concorded scores
most easily?
► Communicate to students, families, and counselors:
► Articulate admission and placement policy changes
► Clarify whether you will require or recommend SAT essay for admission
► Ensure you have updated materials
► Reassure students both pre-March 2016 and new SAT are acceptable
► Let the College Board know about policy changes (i.e., SAT essay policy)
► Communicate to campus stakeholders:
► Ensure that all necessary individuals and groups on campus have the
information they need in advance of receiving the new scores.

Score Reporting
► Anticipated date for viewing new SAT takers in Search is May 23rd
► Search will use concordance tables to find all SAT takers for you
► Simply put in your traditional score ranges and Search will find all SAT takers
that meet your criteria (new and old)
► If copying a previous search you’ll need to re-enter score ranges, previous
ranges will not be carried over
► Concordance tables will be available for viewing on search website and
concorded scores will be shown in criteria summary
The Search is on… Finding SAT takers
► Search will require you to submit score range criteria using new PSAT & SAT
score ranges
► Search will use concordance tables to concord backwards to find all
PSAT/SAT takers, new and old
► Copied orders will require you to submit score range criteria
► Search website will have all concordance tables available for viewing and
show all selected score ranges concorded in criteria summary
► Search will make Test-Level score ranges available
► Institutions seeking to find students based on Reading, Writing and
Language, or Math test-level scores will have access to search at this level

Add the “Manage Access to K12 Assessment Reporting Tool” role to your
profile using your school’s access code
The “Managing Access” tool allows institutions to administer access to
College Board services and tools. The “Access Manager” at the institution
can:
• Grant, manage, and revoke access to their institution’s Reporting Tool
• Add additional Access Managers
• Provide access to Electronic Score Report (ESR) data file downloads
• Provide access to enhanced online assessment reporting

Q: Does my student need an access code?
A: An access code needed only if name, address, DOB on account do not match (College
Board account and information from Student Questionnaire)
Q: My student is logged in, but is NOT seeing his or her scores?
A: Student may need to “Add Scores” from other assessments or initiate a “Score Match”
through the online tool. They will need to verify and update profile information.
The matching may require a call to Customer Service: (866) 433 – 7728

  • 22. When to Use This Concordance ► Use this concordance for tasks currently completed using an SAT Score Total based on Critical Reading + Math. EXAMPLE: Use Total to Total for a program where a grade point average of 3.0 and 1040 (out of 1600) on the pre-March 2016 SAT meets a sliding scale for admission without further review. ► Planned tables will include: ► 1600 to 1600 tables (looking at just the Critical Reading and Math scores on the pre-March 2016 SAT and including ACT) ► 2400 to 1600 tables (and vice versa, including ACT) Using Total to Total Tables
  • 23. When to Use This Concordance ► Use this concordance for tasks currently completed using the score from one single section of the pre-March 2016 SAT. EXAMPLE: Use Section to Section for placement into an honors math course that requires a score of 600 or higher on the Math section of the pre-March 2016 SAT. ► Planned tables will include: ► Critical Reading + Writing to Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (and vice versa) ► Math to Math Section (and vice versa) 25 Using Section to Section Tables

EXAMPLE: Students with pre-March 2016 SAT Critical Reading scores below 550 are required to take a placement test before enrolling. Use Section to Test table for: pre-March 2016 SAT Critical Reading Section → new SAT Reading Test ► Planned tables will include: ► Critical Reading to Reading Test (and vice versa) ► Writing to Writing and Language Test (and vice versa, including ACT) ► Math to Math Test (and vice versa) Using Section to Test Tables
  • 25. Smartphone Apps iPhone and Android apps — provide the same functionality as the old score conversion slider. Web Provides the same functionality as the apps, enabling users to make score-to-score conversions. Large-Scale Concordance Higher education institutions may also need tools to convert large numbers of scores quickly. How will we use concorded scores most easily?
  • 26. ► Communicate to students, families, and counselors: ► Articulate admission and placement policy changes ► Clarify whether you will require or recommend SAT essay for admission ► Ensure you have updated materials ► Reassure students both pre-March 2016 and new SAT are acceptable ► Let the College Board know about policy changes (i.e., SAT essay policy) ► Communicate to campus stakeholders: ► Ensure that all necessary individuals and groups on campus have the information they need in advance of receiving the new scores. A: An access code needed only if name, address, DOB on account do not match (College Board account and information from Student Questionnaire) Q: My student is logged in, but is NOT seeing his or her scores?
