7. Dear Alex
In response to our company’s rapid expansion and the
increasing number of projects, I
would like to propose a new data management system for
storing and editing the large
amount of data from a variety of sources to ease the process of
planning and data
analysis.
I need your help to write a report on geographic information
systems to be submitted for
discussion in our coming management meeting. In your report,
please explain the basic
functions and benefits of a geographic information system and
evaluate a potential
system, ProGIS. You need to carry out some research to collect
the information about the
benefits of installing such a system. You should also refer to the
information extracted
from the Engineering World Journal and my research results on
ProGIS.
Please send your report to me one week before the management
8. meeting. Thanks.
Peter
