This document provides an overview of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Tier 2 strategies being implemented in the Fond du Lac School District. It discusses the need to move beyond universal strategies to also implement more targeted Tier 2 interventions with fidelity. Examples of Tier 2 interventions include Check-In/Check-Out, social academic instructional groups, and targeted classroom environmental strategies. The document also discusses using data teams to review behavioral data and identify students who may need Tier 2 supports. Overall, the goal is to establish consistent Tier 2 processes and interventions across the district to provide additional layers of academic and behavioral support for students not responsive to universal strategies alone.
