Jane Austen was born in Hampshire, England in 1775. She came from a large, close-knit family and showed an early talent for writing. Her father supported her writing by providing books and materials. After her father's retirement, the family moved to Bath where Jane was unhappy and her writing declined. After her father's death, her brothers provided financial support for her mother and sisters. Jane found happiness writing again after moving to Southampton. Her health deteriorated and she died in 1817 at the age of 41.

The short story tells of Tinang, who visits her former employer and is informed of a letter waiting for her. Upon reading the letter, she finds it is from her ex-lover Amado explaining why he left. Though reminded of her past, Tinang focuses on her family and duties as a wife and mother.
The garden party

III. Mrs. Grose tells Catherine the ghosts are evil. Catherine realizes the children are hiding something and may be possessed by the ghosts at times. She works to protect the children from the ghosts.
Katherine mansfield
Katherine Mansfield was a New Zealand writer born in 1888. She came from an affluent family but had a difficult personal life, experiencing two early pregnancies and developing tuberculosis later in life. Mansfield is considered an important modernist writer known for her short stories. She was influenced by writers like Chekhov and Richardson and helped establish a modern style of writing focused on everyday concerns and rich imagery. Mansfield published many short stories in her final years before her death from tuberculosis in 1923 at the age of 34.
The chronicles of narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe tells the story of four siblings who discover the magical world of Narnia through a wardrobe. Narnia is under an eternal winter caused by the evil White Witch. The curious youngest sibling Lucy is the first to find Narnia but her siblings don't believe her. Later, the deceitful Edmund is tricked into helping the Witch. In the end, all the siblings work together to defeat the Witch and free Narnia from her curse.
Narcissus and Goldmund
The novel tells the story of Narcissus and Goldmund, two young monks in a convent in the Middle Ages. Narcissus is a contemplative monk with a religious vocation, while Goldmund feels drawn to explore the world. He leaves the convent and embarks on a journey of adventure, love, and suffering. Throughout his travels, Goldmund discovers his passion for art and finds meaning in remembering his mother. Exhausted, he returns to the convent where Narcissus recognizes and helps him. Short Story: Friendship or Love
Suzanne Henderson and Mitchell Johnson meet at a funeral after many years, where Mitchell finally got the courage to say hello to Suzanne but there was tension in his tone which could cut the glass at that moment. He excused the folks and said, “Hi, it’s been awhile”. “Hello, yes it has been a long time since we saw each other,” Suzanne responded and excused herself to meet Mitchell’s sister, Aria, and Rebecca’s mother to pay her respects. Suzanne could not ignore when she heard from their friend John that Rebecca died after living with lung cancer for two years. Rebecca and Mitchell were married for six years. Suzanne was in town after seven years when she left to pursue her career in Europe, right after completing her university. Suzanne could remember each turn, each road and each café of the town and remembered her sitting with her love interest at that time or her friends Rebecca and Aria. When she crossed Mitchell and Aria’s house while going to a funeral, she could remember the last time when she left that house and tears came rolling down on her flushed cheeks which showed her nervousness at that time because she knew she will have to meet Mitchell and Aria there. She lost contact with everyone from university when she left the town because she never wanted to stick to these memories, but she never knew that this place could not leave her.
When Mitchell saw Suzanne in her black dress coming out from the car, he could not believe his eyes because he made peace with the fact that he would never see Suanne ever again, especially after all these years. He still found her as attractive as she was in her teenage years with the same innocence on her face. Her curly hair was as fresh as it was before. When Suzanne met everyone from Mitchell’s home, she left and stopped at the cafe where she used to sit with her friends. It was a gloomy afternoon and there were only a few people in the café. When Suzanne took the first sip of coffee, memories rushed back to her mind about the day when Rebecca, Suzanne, and Aria first met in school. Rebecca, Suzanne, and Aria were best friends in high school, and they chose a similar degree of Medicine to pursue their passion. They always dreamt of working together as doctors in a hospital, but fate decided something else for them, which no one imagined. Suzanne could listen to those laughs which she enjoyed with her beloved friends. Chanda is described as brave, caring, and responsible despite facing hardship as an orphan caring for her family alone.
The miranda project
Miranda is the best friend of the main character Via in the book. She has gone through some changes in her life, such as her parents' divorce, and sees Via's family as a replacement for the family life she never had. Miranda is considered a minor but dynamic and round character. She helps move the story along and has an initial conflict with Via but they become friends again by the end. Miranda also goes through some personal changes like dying her hair pink and changing her style.
Incidents In The Life Of A Slave Girl

Remember Miranda.- TITLE: Remember Miranda AUTHOR: Rowena Akinyem PUBLISHER: Oxford bookworm’s library PREVIEWING: I chose this book, because this book has a good story and good thematic, excellent context and is a very interesting text also the cover it's not common and this is interesting MAIN IDEA: Remember Miranda is a book of mystery about a girl. One of the characters is Cathy she doesn’t have brother or sister. Everybody remembers Miranda, but nobody wants to talk about her. MAIN SUPPORTING POINTS: · Cathy is a woman find a new job whit the Harvey family. · She take care two young, Tim and Susan.
- 2. · She meets Nick, the farmer who lives across the fields, but doesn’t meet Miranda, the children mom, because she is died. · Miranda died two years ago. · Tim was five years old and Susan seven years old. · Susan is a quiet girl whit big brown eye. · Juliet is Miranda sister and every day she talk about stories of Miranda. · Cathy fell in love with Nick but she said nothing about that. · The grandmother who killed Miranda. She wanted to break Miranda’s leg not to go out for her love. Unfortunately, Miranda was dead. There was no murderous reason to kill Miranda, but she ended her life. SUMMARY: First the story started when Cathy Wilson (babysitter for the Harvey Family) goes to Norfolk, to begin her new job with the Harvey family. She is going to take care of children Tim and Susan (sons of Miranda). She meets Nick the farmer who lives across the fields. But she doesn't meet Miranda the, because Miranda is dead. Miranda died 2 years ago, and Cathy not learn anything about her.
- 3. Juliet (sister of Miranda) loved to nick and Miranda was dead because of that. Miranda hated her husband and his children. She wanted to leave them on the Beach House to live with Nick. However, Nick didn’t love Miranda, and Duncan was angry with that. Juliet never told her sister about her love with Nick. Juliet and Nick fell in love and Miranda fell in love with Nick, and Duncan never wanted Miranda to leave her family. REACTION PARAGRAPH: In my opinion this is a good book, because the book speaks of feeling.
