Catherine receives a mysterious text from her friend Jaslene who disappeared over a year ago. As Catherine investigates, she receives more texts revealing secrets about Jaslene's past. Each text comes with a mission for Catherine that, if failed, results in harm to a loved one. Catherine's ex-boyfriend Chris, who was violent towards Jaslene, becomes a suspect. At a high school party, the story of Jaslene's disappearance is revealed, with her step-brother and ex-boyfriend Chris revealed to be the killers due to Jaslene's manipulative behavior.

Catherine 16 has just started her first year of A-Levels one ordinary day whilst leaving school to go
home taking the normal alleyway she is receives an unfriendly text by a past ghost. Before starting
college Catherine’s friend Jaslene had gone mysteriously missing and it had been over one year.
In the first scene we have Catherine our main character saying bye to some acquaintances outside of
school she goes through a alleyway which she takes on a daily bases to go home we then hear a
beep which is her phone we have a shot of the phone in her hand while she reads the text she had
received a text which only a past ghost like Jaslene would send something secretive something only
she would know something she would use against Catherine.
Catherine believes that Jaslene has returned to town but within the same day her friend Jaslene’s
body is found. Each text that Jaslene receives is a secret unravelled to Jaslene’s past and one step
closer to finding out what had happened to her and what has caused her to die. Each text she
receives is almost like a mission if she fails a loved one disappears or worse dies. But in this film she
has a love interest Chris who used to have a ‘thing’ with Jaslene and Catherine remembers that Chris
was once extremely violent towards Jaslene which creates an image of him being the suspect.
Catherine has a current ‘best friend’ which once was a looser before Jaslene went missing and when
Jaslene was in the school she used to bully her, the ‘best friend’ plays as a suspect before she gets
killed off. In the end we have a distraction which is a high school teen party and the host of the party
is Jaslene’s sister soon enough the story of Jaslene’s disappearance and hidden secrets are revealed
and the murderer turns out to be her step brother which had hated her manipulative behaviour and
constantly using things against him he struck and could not take it anymore same with his friend
Chris so they both killed her together.
