Miranda is the best friend of the main character Via in the book. She has gone through some changes in her life, such as her parents' divorce, and sees Via's family as a replacement for the family life she never had. Miranda is considered a minor but dynamic and round character. She helps move the story along and has an initial conflict with Via but they become friends again by the end. Miranda also goes through some personal changes like dying her hair pink and changing her style.

● Her mom and dad are divorced.
● Miranda is Via’s best friend.
● Miranda loved August she thought him as a little brother.
● Miranda likes Via’s family, because it is like the family she never had.
● One of Miranda dislikes were, Julian when she found out what he did to
Auggie.
● Miranda also is in play, acting, etc.

4. Minor or Major?
Miranda would be a minor character. Miranda would minor character because she
helps the story go along and interacts with Via. Via and Miranda had a conflict
with each other. Another reason Miranda would be minor is, that towards the end
Via and Miranda become best friends again; and the taking Miranda to dinner after
they reunite.

5. Static or dynamic?
Miranda would be a dynamic character.miranda would be considered to be a
dynamic character, because goes through change. Like not being friends with Via;
then becoming friends with her again. Another reason she goes through change
is while she was at camp she dyed her hair pink, cut it into a bob cut, and
completely changed her clothing style.

6. Round or flat?
Miranda would be considered to be a round character. Miranda would be
considered a round character, because she is a well developed character. It talks
about when she was little her parents had gotten divorced. Explains that she is an
only child; and didn’t have the childhood she wished of having.
