This document summarizes projects in Ecuador and Nicaragua focused on introducing antibiotic resistance (ABR) into education curricula. In Ecuador, the project partners with the Ministry of Education and PAHO to develop training and materials on ABR and health education. Research is being conducted and a 5-module online training for teachers is being implemented. In Nicaragua, the project partners with an organization called CISAS to educate teachers and children on ABR through workshops. Baseline research will inform the development of training strategies for teachers in Nicaragua as well.
