Writing a Cover Letter
• Keep your letter to one page in length with at least 4

• If no name provided or title – use Dear Sir/Madam in your
salutation – do not use “To Whom It May Concern”
• Be specific about your qualifications - match requirements of

• No bullets – don’t repeat your resume!
