Rays Enserv is installing a waste-to-energy plant in Punjab, India that uses supercritical thermal treatment technology to convert end-of-life plastic waste into synthetic fuel and syngas. The 15 tonne per day plant is at an advanced stage of installation and commissioning and is expected to complete trial runs in the first quarter of 2017. Rays Enserv was established in 2014 and uses a unique, indigenous technology to depolymerize plastic waste into usable fuel, helping address waste management and energy issues while generating jobs.

SIDBI has taken several initiatives to promote clean energy adoption among MSMEs in India. SIDBI also established Indian SME Technology Services Ltd to assist MSMEs directly. SIDBI works with multiple partners and provides financial assistance through lines of credit. SIDBI has taken several initiatives to promote clean energy adoption among MSMEs in India. SIDBI also established Indian SME Technology Services Ltd to assist MSMEs directly. SIDBI works with multiple partners and provides financial assistance through lines of credit. By 2032, non fossil fuel based generation capacity shall make up nearly 28% of NTPC’s portfolio.NTPC has been operating its plants at high efficiency levels. Although the company has 17.73% of the total national capacity, it contributes 25.91% of total power generation due to its focus on high efficiency.

DEEP LEARNING FOR SMART GRID INTRUSION DETECTION: A HYBRID CNN-LSTM-BASED MODEL
As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion
detection in smart grids. The proposed approach is a combination of the Convolutional Neural Network
(CNN) and the Long-Short-Term Memory algorithms (LSTM). We employed a recent intrusion detection
dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.

For further information email – info@raysenserv.com or call +91-9818145331 RAYS ENSERV, a Partnership Firm Established in 2014 is engaged in conceptualizing, planning, research and development and installation of waste to energy projects using Supercritical Thermal Treatment Technology for the thermal de-polymerization of end of life waste plastics to create Synthetic Fuel, an Alternate Source of Energy. RAYS ENSERV, (RE) is installing Waste to Energy Project – 2x15 TPD of Refuse Derived Liquid Fuels (Synthetic Oil) and Syngas from industrial/domestic plastic wastes. The plant is being installed at village Allowal, Bhadson Road, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala, Punjab. Rays Enserv is at advanced stage of installation and commissioning of Phase 1 of the project and expects to complete trial runs within First Quarter 2017. About Rays Enserv (RE) 1. Unique project in Waste Management space with completely indigenous technology (ground up). 2. Supercritical Thermal De-polymerization Technology being used first time for converting end of life plastics waste to useable fuel. 3. Dedicated Founders with over twenty years of association and neck in the game (self funded, bootstrapped). 4. Approval from DIPP as startup (DIPP1145) startupindia.gov.in 5. In-principle approval from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) acknowledging that Plastic to Energy comes under their purview. 6. Collaborating with TIFAC (Autonomous body under Department of Science & Technology) for technology validation and innovation. 7. Technology demonstration cum commercial scale plant to be ready for trial runs within first quarter 2017. 8. Blueprint for capacity expansion including technology enhancement already in place and envisaged at peak capacity of 200KL Per Day by 2022. 9. Exploring to partner with right fund/strategic partner/Financial Institutions to fuel exponential growth in coming times and in the process creating value for all stakeholders. 10. Checks all focus areas of present government i.e. Swachh Bharat, Make in India, Startup India, Smart Cities. 11. Will Generate Thousands of Jobs for semi skilled and unskilled workforce directly & indirectly. 12. Will help reduce Indian Government Oil Import bill. 13. Global reach – Where there is Waste Plastic, there will be a “RE” Plant.
