1.5 MW platform
Featuring permanent magnet technology, a low-maintenance blade
pitch system with a toothed belt drive, an air-cooled generator and an
air-cooled frequency converter, CGC’s 1.5 MW platform is suitable for a
variety of grid requirements.
Available in rotor diameters of 70, 77, and 82 metres to suit any wind
zone.
2.5 MW platform
CGC’s 2.5 MW platform offers high performance in a compact tower
head mass of just 132 t, making it suitable for offshore deployment
despite its expanded rotor area.
Completely enclosed to protect he interior of the generator and heat
exchanger cooling system from humidity, dust, and dirt, CGC’s 2.5 MW
platform features permanent magnet technology, and a low-maintenance,
low-wear blade pitch system with a toothed belt drive.
Available in rotor diameters of 90 and 100 metres, for use in most wind
regions.

6. Clean Coal
Producing “clean coal” involves using multiple technologies to minimize the
environmental impact of burning coal to produce energy. Clean coal is a rela-
tively new concept, and CGC has followed its evolution closely. Our expertise
in this area revolves around technologies like gasification, coal washing, and
burn control techniques.
Biomass
Biomass is a renewable energy resource derived from carbonaceous waste,
such as by-products from household waste, wood. the timber industry and ag-
ricultural crops. CGC is working in this exciting new area to develop biofuels
that can generate power using the same equipment currently being used to
generate energy from fossil fuels.
Natural Gas
Natural gas is formed when layers of buried plants and animals are exposed
to intense heat and pressure over thousands of years.Although it is a non-
renewable resource, it offers a “clean” form of energy.We at CGC are explor-
ing new ways to use and distribute natural gas to generate power without a
minimum of environmental impact.
Waste-to-Energy
Waste-to-Energy technologies allow solid and liquid waste to be converted to
energy with zero carbon emissions.These emerging technologies allow waste
to be recycled in an economical, climate-friendly manner by helping to reduce
landfill waste as well as greenhouse emissions.
