1. OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE IN TANK FARM, ROAD GANTRY:-
 Performing TANK FARM & LPG SPHERE OPERATIONS e.g. receipt through
pipelines & tank truck,commissioning & de-commissioning of tanks & pipelines,
Maintanance / checking of the floating roofs & centrifugal pumps, Upkeep of the
fire fighting systems, various periodical maintenance of the pumps,
 Ensuring safe operation of TT loading & actively involved in upkeeping of the
loading gantry systems e.g.proving of the laoding bays,carring out various
maintenance activities in consultation with Instrument,Mechanical,Electrical
Departments.
 Handling petroleum products like Motor Spirit ( Low & High Octane), High Speed
Diesel, Superior Kerosene Oil, Furnace Oil, Bitumen,LPG i.e. dispatch through
Tank Trucks & receipt through pipelines

2.  Commissioning of Tanks viz. Cone, Floating, and Internal Floating roof tanks,
Pumps, Pipelines.
 Monitoring the HYDRO TEST for Pipeline.
 Prepared punch list and clearing formats for all storage tanks, LPG Spheres, Pump
house, product lines & utility lines.
 Involved Prepared Standard Operating Procedures for smooth Commissioning of all
products tanks and pumps.

vertical pump, Single stage and multi stage pump, gear pump, Lobe pump and Air
operated Diaphragm (AOD) pump, etc Day to day Routine, breakdown&
Preventive Maintenance checking as per schedule.
 Rotary equipment Maintenance of Single and multistage centrifugal Pumps,
Reciprocating Pumps, Induced and Forced draft Fan Blowers, Air fin fan cooler, Gear
Boxes and Alignments of Rotating equipment by Dial gauges & laser etc.
 Good working experience in permit system and safety procedures of refinery plants.
Maintenance knowledge of pump – Centrifugal pump vertical pump.
Maintenance knowledge of all types Valve – Gate valve check valve, Globe valve etc.

 Pet coke is produced at the rate of 6237MTPD from DCU which shall be transported to
OSBL storage silos through number of belt conveyors. PM (PREVENTIVE
MAINTENANCE) of all equipments in PCHS.
 Study of all PCHS safety instruments: PULL CORD, BELT MISALIGNMENT
SWITCHES, CHUTE JAMMING LEVEL SWITCHES, ZERO SPEED SWITCHES,
HIGH LEVEL IN COKE SILOS, WEIGH SCALE.
 Maintenance of all equipment in ATLS (AUTOMATIC TRUCK LOADING SYSTEM).
 Vehicle Tracking System on SAP: We have implemented Vehicle Tracking System for
TTs of pet coke & Ensured minimum turnaround time for Truck Loading within refinery.
 Planning, co-ordination and execution of the operations.
 Maintaining project records, claim and opportunity management.
 Carrying out quality checks in various phases of operation like custodial pipeline transfer,
product storage, product delivery, etc. as lay down by Oil Industry Quality Control
Manual.
 Participating in safety meetings, Ensuring proper safety practices during operation.
 Preparing Permits for Hot/cold/Work at Height/Radiography works and carrying out the
work in Safety procedure. Also took Additional responsibility of Safety Coordinator
work imparting regular Tool Box Talks to the Construction Contractor’s Supervisors and
Workmen.
