WORK EXPERIENCE Mechanical Trainer/ Assessor / Verifier and Piping Inspector. - Prime Atlantic Cegelec Oil & Gas Nigeria Ltd. 2010 Till Date Responsibilities include: • Provide day to day training and development for mechanical technicians mainly in onsite facilities and in the workshop, providing demonstrations and instructions to the technicians to ensure full compliance with procedures, technical requirements and correct practice. • Ensure tasks undertaken by the technicians are carried out in line with organization’s HSSE standards and procedures and provide guidance. • Review and judge evidence against stated criteria, record assessment decisions and provide constructive feedback to the technicians, respective supervisors and Discipline Mentors. • Development, delivery and Assessment of Mechanical Technology training element. • Assist preparing Mechanical Technology Elements document for Cegelec Certifications. • Assist in competency mapping for clients. • Upkeep and maintenance of Mechanical Technology practical workshop, equipment and apparatus. • Attend standardization meetings- Assessors/Verifiers • On the Job training and Assessment (Rotating and Fixed Equipment)- ESCRAVOS Gas To liquid plant(EGTL), chevron. Field Engineer –MI SWACO (FILCO Drilling and completion) March 2008- October 2010 Responsibilities include: • Keep an up-dated list of equipment used in the field by unit number and common area location. • Order and pickup maintenance supplies and materials from the onshore base. • Complete all preventive maintenance requirements of equipment such as pumps, filtration press, reciprocating engines as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Chart, and keep records by up-dating the chart. • Visual inspection of rotating equipment. • Maintains inventory of necessary parts and equipment. • Fluid preparation for well cleaning after drilling. • Rigging up of filtration equipment. • Writing daily report of activities to the base manager. • Enforce sound safety and housekeeping practices. Mechanical Technician – SANDRO TECHNICAL COMPANY NIGERIA 2007-2008 Responsibilities include: • Assist and participate in routine inspections. Perform tasks such as replacing oil or lubricating equipment during routine maintenance. • Replace or repair damaged and malfunctioning parts after doing inspection. Such as Top overhauling, replacing of turbo charger, replacing of oil and air filters etc. • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements - crank shaft clearance, cylinder bore and pistons.
