and Physical Exercise.
Within PDHPE we focus on 5 important skills
• Decision-Making
• Problem-Solving
• Communicating
• Interacting
• Moving
These skills help us to make better choices, work
through issues, improve our socialisation habits and
lead a healthy life.

the body undergoes over time.
*Forming positive interpersonal relationships is
encouraged
*Students are encouraged to be confident in
who they are, and learn skills to accept the
diversity of others.

• Physical – relates to how our body is able to move, also nutrition
• Emotional – how we cope with and recognize how things make us feel
• Social – how we interact with our peers and communities
• Spiritual – how we think of our sense of belonging, or sense of purpose
(note that the is different to religion, which is NOT a part of PDHPE)
• Mental – how our minds are developing as we grow
