• Regular physical activity is essential for the development and maintenance
of optimum health.
• It can improve cardiovascular efficiency which can therefore reduce risk
factors of coronary heart disease.
• It is critical for enhancing bone development, controlling obesity, and
improving psychological health and immune status.
• Physical activity is also important in contributing to quality of life. As
being active can be enjoyable and can build self esteem.
