• Develop the strategy of the company congruent with the goals set by the board of
directors.
• Articulate the strategy into long and short term action plans to be implemented by
JEI units and staff.

•Direct research and innovation related to education trends in cooperation with partners.
•Benchmark local and regional education with global leading countries.
•Develop new services/products and enhance existing services/products.
•Develop and publish performance management and indicators to benchmark education
locally and regionally with other leading countries
•Identify and develop initiatives with the potential to make major impact and contributions
to education reform.
•Establish a forum for partners and regional countries to explore, test, and deploy education
innovations leading to realizing the impact of sound and viable projects and innovations.
•Develop education publications, journals, news letters…etc.
•Train teachers on the latest strategies in education to prepare students for the 21st
century.

Jordan Education Initiative
• Drive the e-Curricula track plans in coordination with other JEI track managers at
the JEI PMO to ensure the success of the development and deployment of JEI e-
Curricula.
• Coordinate with the Curricula Department at the Ministry of Education, and where
necessary with the Training and Technology Departments to ensure the alignment of
the e-Curricula with the MoE General Curriculum Framework for the success of e-
Curricula in the public Schools.
• Participate in the review of e-Curricula programs/proposals submitted to the JEI
PMO and align them with MoE Curricula plans.
• Coordinate e-Curricula workshops/focus groups with local e-Curriculum developers
and different global partners and drive resulting reporting and follow up actions.
• Ensure individual projects are delivered in compliance with JEI PMO standards and
norms (e.g. as regards quality, timing, reporting)
• Drive the JEI e-Curricula Track reporting and status tracking.
• Evaluate new projects offered to the JEI to be implemented in the Discovery Schools.
• Work closely with teachers and schools’ principals to enhance the use of ICT.
• Bring in and manage new innovative ideas to schools by communicating with local
and global companies.

During my inspection experience in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain I had the chance to inspect
schools in Arabic studies, Islamic religion and Social studies.
- Designed and conduct the 21st
century learning and teaching. The training material
focuses on good teaching practices that provide students with the 21st century skills
such as using student-centered approaches, critical thinking, project-based learning
and cooperative learning.
- Designed and conduct ‘Change Management’ training which focuses on building
school’s vision, developing implementation strategies, identifying Key Performance
indicators and producing success stories.
- Prepared a user guide for the Interactive white board and a trainer for teachers using
the board.
- Speaker with Smart Technologies at the Global Education Technology Summit in
Calgary Canada and the Technologies Seminar in Dubai.
- Workshop leader and trainer for principals and administrators highlighting leadership
and communication skills.
- Workshop leader and trainer for the Amman Baccalaureate School summer workshop
for teachers from the Arab world highlighting Interdisciplinary approach and how to
integrate health and social education concepts in the different disciplines.

During my experience as a leader and school teacher I was involved in different
activities such as leading different extra-curricular activities in the school, organizing
assemblies and lectures in cooperation with different NGOs in addition to working with
all departments in designing activities that highlight health issues in their own
curricula.

E-Curricula Track Manager July 2005- Dec.2007 Jordan Education Initiative • Drive the e-Curricula track plans in coordination with other JEI track managers at the JEI PMO to ensure the success of the development and deployment of JEI e- Curricula. • Coordinate with the Curricula Department at the Ministry of Education, and where necessary with the Training and Technology Departments to ensure the alignment of the e-Curricula with the MoE General Curriculum Framework for the success of e- Curricula in the public Schools. • Participate in the review of e-Curricula programs/proposals submitted to the JEI PMO and align them with MoE Curricula plans. • Coordinate e-Curricula workshops/focus groups with local e-Curriculum developers and different global partners and drive resulting reporting and follow up actions. • Ensure individual projects are delivered in compliance with JEI PMO standards and norms (e.g. as regards quality, timing, reporting) • Drive the JEI e-Curricula Track reporting and status tracking. • Evaluate new projects offered to the JEI to be implemented in the Discovery Schools. • Work closely with teachers and schools’ principals to enhance the use of ICT. • Bring in and manage new innovative ideas to schools by communicating with local and global companies.
