Duties & Responsibilities
• Drive and deliver exceptional retail business performance, through the provision of efficient business management,
powerful leadership team development and the achievement of sales targets in the branch.
• Direct and plan the branch selling activities to both existing and potential customers within established policies and
procedure.
• Administer and monitor customer call program, call documentary, and review contact reports made by personal
bankers.
• Present loan requests to the branch manager and RMG authorities for approval.
• Solve problems of non- routine nature (such as validity, insufficient funds and frauds).
• Assist personal bankers with problems that involve changes or special handling instructions.
• Ensure the proper implementation of permanent supervision system.
• Supervise, cross- train, coach and develop staff to handle several products effectively.
• Lead promotion launches where appropriate.
• Maintain professional and business relationships to increase visibility of the bank to more community areas.
• Maintain awareness of different economic, financial and banking conditions and assist in the branch yearly plans in
corporation with the branch manager.
• Keep knowledge of CBE regulations, accounting procedures, as well as various payment systems.
• Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of permanent supervision system, compliance, money laundry
and KYC rules at the branch.
• Have good knowledge of banks operating system, Equation, ATM etc….
• Should inform the Personal Bankers about all products.
• Ensuring that all Personal Bankers read the SOPs.
• Ensuring that all brochures are available in the branch and on the personal bankers’ desk.
• Should provide the training to the personal banker in a proper way.
• Motivate staff and ensure they are recognized.
• Share knowledge, experience and best practices with team members.
• Manage customer complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner.
• Provide direct feedback constructive feedback to others.
• Be a role model for all personal bankers.
• Assist in achieving the branch target.
• Check all documents before sending for approval to Risk Department.
• Checking the checklist for all opening A/C.
• Handling customer complaints and their request for different information.
• Taking customer instructions, ensuring proper action of customer requests.
• Ensuring to provide good customer service in the branch.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Answering any financial and banking queries.
• Contributing towards policy making.
• Providing advice on investments.
• Maintaining a professional image at all times.
• Working closely with small and medium sized businesses.
• Managing and monitoring the performance of bank employees.
• Putting into effect new procedures and policies passed down from Head Office.
• Handling customer queries face to face, over the phone or via correspondence.
• Marketing new financial products or services.
