• Tech Lead NOVA –Web Access Security (Client: AXA Insurance, Melbourne Australia Feb 2007- Apr 2009) Company:
Wipro Technologies: NOVA is a J2EE application which deals with Superannuation details of AXA clients. The client's
superannuation details are retrieved from the Mainframe (Super Database) and displayed to the user. The modules
include Policy Summary, Client Details, Personal Settings and Service Details etc. NOVA follows the MVC architecture.
NOVA converts the entire request to the mainframes in the form of XML using XStream component and puts the message
on the TIBCO EMS queue. An EAI component then picks up the XML request message and fires a query to the mainframes
(DBOB and MPOL). The response message XML message is converted to a Java business object using the Xstream
component and displayed to the user. Requirements gathering, Design of the application, Documentation, Team
Management, Analysis, Coding and Testing of the entire application. Worked closely with various teams (EAI, Release and
Support) to co-ordinate and deliver the product on tight deadlines. Worked in an efficient way throughout the SDLC
(System Development Life Cycle) that includes Analysis/System Design/Development/Testing/Release
management/Production Deployment/Maintenance and Support activities.
• XCOLL (Client: UBS, Chicago, USA Aug 2005 – Feb 2007) Company: Wipro Technologies: XCOLL is a powerful and unique
cross-product collateral management framework developed to mitigate credit risk. The system allows UBS to assess an
entity or counterparty's aggregate exposures and collateral across multiple business lines in global markets. XCOLL is a
classical Client/Server architecture, which receives feed files (flat files with trades) as inputs and processes the data using
complex calculation logic converts them in to understandable format and sends them to other systems as output. Data is
processed through the XCOLL servers to produce client trading positions and collateral requirements. XCOLL is a
component based architecture each component communicate using an RMI call. Dataloader is the important component,
which initiates the feed loading cycle, it reacts to the scheduling events from a Scheduler (Anthea) and picks up a feed file
from a specified location and processes it. The trades that are part of the feeds are loaded in to XCOLL and converted in to
Raw data objects. Another component called Parser responsible for parsing picks up the raw data and converts them in to
XCOLL recognizable format. Performed Tech Lead role by managing a team and ensured time line deliverables.Handled
requirement gathering, Documentation, Analysis, Design, Development, System Testing and Production
