Responsibilities include:
IMPORTS
 Receive pre alerts from Import Suppliers.
 Liaise with freight forwarder in clearing of import shipment.
 Inspecting Inbound cargo pallets/ boxes, if any damages found, report to CSD Manager.
 Review all inbound cargo temperature recorders and tiny tags. And ensuring that temperature was maintained
correctly in transit, if not report to QA.
 Inbound cargo tallying with pre alert documents, if any discrepancies report to origin station.
 Managing stock allocation & finalizing the Import job order sheets.
 Allocation and stackingof stocks atlocations.

 Updating SAP with stocks/inventory once the shipments are thoroughly checked.
 Advise CSD on updatingSAP.
Exports
 Receipt of Pick Order (Pick List) from CSD.
 Verification of pick order with physical quantities.
 Picking and packing of stocks as per sales order.
 Inspect outbound packages including labels with handling instructions.
 Ensure special packages are done for DGR CARGO.
 Cross check export documents with pick list.
 Preparation of Packing Lists according to the dispatches required with relevant information (BOE)
 After getting confirmation of export from logistics,coordinating with Frt. Forwarder to pick the cargo.
 Preparation of delivery advicefor confirmation of consignment picked up by the Freight Forwarder.
 Updating the inventory in SAP by doingPGI (Post Good Issue) once the shipment is dispatched fromthe
warehouse.
 Ensure that the dispatches are as per schedule
 Carryout physical inventory count on a regular basis, using standard procedures, take corrective action if
required.
 Preparing month end inventory reports.
 Ensure that all warehouse employees are properly trained.
 Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the warehouse areas and ensure all FIRE
EXITS and gangways are clear of obstruction.
 ProvidingExpired inventory details / information to QA and CSD Manager to proceed in arrangingdestruction
process.
 Make recommendations when opportunities are seen for improvements in warehouse for packing and
packaging materials.
 Carry out any other reasonableduties as and when necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the
department.
General Responsibilities
 Liaise with vendors for Packing Materials.
 Liaise with Air Conditioning Maintenance Company for timely servicing and check ups
 Warehousetemperature is maintained atoptimum level i.e. ambient 15-25oC & 2-8oC fridge:
