We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

WHICH ART FORM?
• The decoration is not the main purpose of a _____. In olden days, _____ were drawn
in coarse rice flour, so the ants would not have to walk too far or too long for a
meal. The rice powder also invites birds and other small creatures to eat it, thus
welcoming other beings into one's home and everyday life: a daily tribute to
harmonious co-existence. It is a sign of invitation to welcome all into the home,
not the least of whom is Lakshmi, the Goddess of prosperity and wealth. The
patterns range between geometric and mathematical line drawings around a
matrix of dots to free form art work and closed shapes. Folklore has evolved to
mandate that the lines must be completed so as to symbolically prevent evil
spirits from entering the inside of the shapes, and thus are they prevented from
entering the inside of the home.

hotel.
• Searching frantically for a place, Gandhi jr eventually convinced the warden and acquired a bed in the ___Y_____. It was ironic,

WHICH ARCHITECTURAL MARVEL?
• In 1957, Utzon unexpectedly won the competition to design the X. His submission was one of 233 designs from 32
countries, many of them from the most famous architects of the time. Although he had won six other architectural
competitions previously, the Opera House was his first non-domestic project. One of the judges, Eero Saarinen,
described it as "genius" and declared he could not endorse any other choice.
• The designs Utzon submitted were little more than preliminary drawings. Concerned that delays would lead to lack
of public support, the Cahill government of New South Wales nonetheless gave the go-ahead for work to begin in
1958. The British engineering consultancy Ove Arup and Partners put out tenders without adequate working
drawings and construction work began on 2 March 1959. As a result, the podium columns were not strong enough
to support the roof and had to be rebuilt.
• The extraordinary structure of the shells themselves represented a puzzle for the engineers. This was not resolved
until 1961, when Utzon himself finally came up with the solution. He replaced the original elliptical shells with a
design based on complex sections of a sphere. Utzon says his design was inspired by the simple act of peeling an
orange: the 14 shells of the building, if combined, would form a perfect sphere. Although Utzon had spectacular,
innovative plans for the interior of these halls, he was unable to realise this part of his design.

But they quickly broke down as the robots
appeared to chant at each other in a language

WHOM DID CHAPLIN MEET?
• His meeting with Charlie Chaplin, was a much-recorded event. They met at a “humble little house in
the slum district off the East India Dock Road…Press and Photographers packed both floors”. (My
Autobiography, Charles Chaplin, Penguin Books, 1966, Page 335)
• Chaplin asked X about his “abhorrence of machinery” to which X said: “Machinery in the past has made
us dependent on England, and the only way we can rid ourselves of that dependency is to boycott all
goods made by machinery”. And then Chaplin admitted: “I got a lucid object lesson in tactical
manoeuvring in India’s fight for freedom, inspired, paradoxically, by a realistic, virile-minded visionary
with a will of iron to carry it out”.
• Chaplin even witnessed the evening prayer of X and five others in the room. “What a paradox, I
thought, as I watched this extremely realistic man, with his astute legal mind and his profound sense of
political reality, all of which seemed to vanish in a sing-song chant”, he wrote. (My Autobiography,
