Screenagers own multiple digital devices and have insatiable appetite for real-time information, new experiences, and constant connectivity. And they cut across age groups.
In this report, Accenture surveyed 1,000 respondents in Indonesia and identified five trends in its digital consumer market. They are 1) The multiplier effect, 2) You, me & IoT, 3) Lost in transmission, 4) The way you make me feel, and 5) The brand engagement.
Communications, media and technology companies need to have a profound understanding of this important customer to stay ahead. They need to deliver a safe and unique brand experience, a clear value proposition, and user interaction that meets or exceeds the ever-increasing expectations of screenagers.
Companies want to innovate, particularly around the Internet of Things (IoT) which Gartner claims is just 5 to 10 years away from real productivity. And they can start doing so today by watching consumers via sensor-laden connected devices.

[Webinar] Driving The Ultimate Customer Experience With Predictive Marketing ...Mintigo1
To view the full webinar, please visit:
http://www.mintigo.com/webinar-driving-the-ultimate-customer-experience-with-predictive-marketing-personalization/
Description:
How Predictive Marketing Powers Real Time Web Personalization
Many B2B marketers have heard the term “predictive analytics,” but when asked to describe how this is used to improve their marketing efforts, very few have an answer. Or, they only think of it as applied to predictive lead scoring built with black box algorithms, leaving them with an arbitrary number that’s meant to reflect how valuable a lead is, but with no explanation as to how it was derived.
Savvy marketers understand that the data and insights that predictive analytics uncover can be used to not only drive the discovery of the most likely buyers, but also be used to create effective, relevant customer experiences.
The result is greater engagement with prospects and customers by offering the right messages to the right audiences in real time.
In this webinar, we explain:
- Why it’s critical to know your ideal customer profile, aka your CustomerDNA(TM)
- How to identify key customer attributes to create targeted customer experiences
- How to develop and launch a data-driven personalization strategy in less than 30 days

Mapping the Omnichannel Customer Journey: How to Engage People in a Mobile Fi...FollowAnalytics
Customers don’t think about channels, they think about their needs. Customers simply want to engage with your brand in the way that is the easiest for them, whether that’s email, in-app, social or in person. As a marketer it’s your job to connect the dots to understand your customers’ needs and serve them the experiences they expect.
This requires making sure intelligence from multiple sources are centralized so you can determine things like: What message is best to send? What platform is it best to send it on? What channel should you use?
In this webinar, guest speaker Julie Ask from Forrester, an expert in mobile marketing and channel strategy, will share valuable industry insights and best practices to help you put together an impactful omnichannel strategy that delivers ROI.
You will learn:
How to go beyond viewing users as data points and approach them on a personal level to increase the impact of your marketing campaigns.
How successful omnichannel strategies balance multiple platforms and communication channels with their customers.
How to break the mobile silo and fold mobile into your broader marketing strategy to leverage its full potential for engaging your customers in contextual and personal ways.

Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, Programmatic Advertising and Beacon Technology
Four consumer technologies are about to disrupt the way you think about digital marketing in 2016: virtual reality, the “Internet of Things” (IoT), programmatic advertising and beacon technology. In the very near future, these innovative technologies will dramatically transform how consumers experience a brand and its products and services.

Similar to Multi-Channel Technology Options for Contact Centers (20)
If you are tired of seeing the IT organization being misunderstood, losing budget, or feel like you are on a different planet from the rest of the executive team, this session is for you. Learn how to translate IT's value into a language the other business units will understand and focus your energy on the real competitors who wake up every morning with the sole intent of eating your lunch.
Good IVR Design is as much about caller behavior and human psychology as it is about technology. In this recorded session, Rebecca Gibson, Contact Center Solutions Consultant with Interactive Intelligence, will discuss 4 critical design principles and 17 best practices that will increase both business results and customer satisfaction with your IVR.
"By 2020, the customer will manage 85% of the relationship with an enterprise without interacting with a human." (Source –Gartner).
Have you heard the term "look where you're going"? Usually referring to someone who isn't paying attention, right? In the case of 2020, and Gartner's prediction, the phrase takes a different meaning; contact centers need to look where they are going with customer interactions. It wasn't very long ago that offering web chats was "state of the art". Fast forward a few years and the "just text me" generation will soon make up a majority of your customer base.
So, how do you prepare?
Here are 5 practical steps you can start doing today to catapult your contact center through the next wave of customer expectations:
1) How to empower agents and customers with consistent information regardless of contact channel.
2) How to begin integrating social channels into your service model (which may include, "first tweet resolution").
3) Mobile customer support? Where do you begin?
4) Use quality and performance measurement to design a better customer experience.
5) How to start automating your contact center processes.
Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
