This document provides parents with suggested questions to ask their child during a parent-teacher conference. The questions are meant to guide discussion about the child's learning and school experience, including what they have learned, areas of difficulty or pride, goals, and how parents can support their learning goals. Sample questions address the child's favorite and challenging subjects, what makes them happy or frustrated at school, and specific plans for improvement.
