1. I am Noor Illi Bt Elas (2014749339), a student from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM)
and takes the course of doing Masters Of Education in Teaching English As Second
Language (TESL). I am as the researcher and currently doing my research for the topic
“Enhancing the Teaching of Grammar explicitly in Malaysia From Teacher’s
Perspectives”. The purpose of the research is to study about the teaching grammar explicitly in
teaching English subject. It means that the teaching is focusing on grammar only for certain
period in a week. As the addition to this point, the researcher intended to study about the cause
for teaching grammar being neglected in the teaching English. Therefore, the researcher needs a
lot of information regarding this topic to study further about this matter. The researcher will
ensure that all the information that had been shared will be kept confidential. The views from the
teachers will be analyzed and written accordingly in this term paper. All the cooperation from the
respondents is highly appreciated. The questionnaires will be distributed to the teachers. This
