I used various tools in Photoshop CS6 such as image filters, drop shadows, and the magnetic lasso tool to create a college magazine, manipulating the college logo, emphasizing the magazine title, and cutting around images. I also downloaded fonts, cropped images to create designs and adjusted layouts, and edited photos by cropping, adjusting exposure, contrast and saturation to prepare them for the magazine.

3. Photo Manipulation
I spent a lot of time choosing which of the photos I took to use for each
section of the magazine. I had to crop and edit each photo I used. For

increase the
contrast and make
the image more
powerful and bold.
