I learnt to use tools on Photoshop while creating my preliminary task of the
college magazine.
Magnetic Lasso Tool: I used this
to cut around the image.
Image Filter: From the filter
gallery, I used to
manipulate the college
logo.
Drop Shadow: To
emphasise the magazine
title.
Fonts: I downloaded
different fonts from the
internet and uploaded
them to photoshop.Image inserts: I cropped
images of purple lines to
create this design
Cropping: Cropped
image to create
correct sizing.

3. Photo Manipulation
I spent a lot of time choosing which of the photos I took to use for each
section of the magazine. I had to crop and edit each photo I used. For

To adjust this photo I
edited the
exposure, contrast
and saturation. The
saturation helps to
increase the
contrast and make
the image more
powerful and bold.
