1) The team learned how to better work together through compromising and delegating tasks for their full product compared to their preliminary task. 2) They improved their time management for the full project by planning filming schedules and meetings, which allowed more time for polishing. 3) The camera work and editing for the full product was of higher quality compared to the preliminary task due to using better equipment, more advanced editing software, and steadier camera movements.

2. Team Work
Throughout our time working on our final piece I think we have all realised how well we
worked as a team.
Comparing this next to how we worked on our very first task (Preliminary task) we have
all noticed the dramatic change in our maturity and professionalism. We all agree that at
the beginning of the year when we first began we still hadn’t learnt to come to a
compromise which is a key element in media. This led to bickering and debating longer
then necessary on what we were actually going to film, where as now we all have learnt
the art of compromising and using one persons idea and your own to create something
original. These compromises helped us decide what we wanted to film quicker than it
would have on our preliminary task giving us a greater amount of time to perfect our
filming and editing.
Looking back on our preliminary task we have noticed how much pressure we put on
ourselves and how determined we were to do it all by ourselves if we could. As we have
got used to all different team work tasks we have now realised how well we have learnt
to delegate different tasks to different members of the group and come together at
points to improve each others work, lifting giant weights off of group members
shoulders.

3. Time Management
Looking back at our preliminary task we have noticed time management wasn’t a priority
for us. We didn’t write down a plan of action nor did we discuss how long we wanted to
give ourselves until completion.
For the construction of Luja, time management was an
important element to ensure we met all of the deadlines
set. This was achieved through planning when we were
going to film (see image), arranging to meet up in our own
time to film/edit and keeping in touch with each other via
text messages.
In addition we spent time designing and organising what
some of our characters would look like, mainly Luja. We felt
this was important to save time on the day of filming.
Finally at the end of each scheduled lesson we were
required to keep a log of all we had completed within the
lesson as well as a rating of how well we performed.

6. Editing
The editing process was different for Luja than our preliminary task in a sense that there
was a lot more to pay attention to in Luja. The software we used in Luja was more
complex than our first task as we downloaded a more advanced programme. This
required more time to not only learn how to use the software appropriately but to put
our final piece together.
For the preliminary task we began using serif movie plus but moved on to Imovie for Luja.
We found Imovie was much more user friendly than serif, this allowed the editing
process to not only be quicker and easier but gave us time to look more in depth with the
detailed final touches in our final piece.
