technologies from the process of
constructing the product?

2.  Adobe Photoshop is a program that I have used throughout this
task. I used it when drafting the magazine and I also used it when
constructing the final magazine.
 Despite the fact that it was a program that I already was familiar
with before the task, this task has definitely improved my
knowledge of the program.
 The techniques that I learnt from this task include: increasing the
brightness of an image, changing the vibrancy of a picture, and
adding effects to pieces of texts.
 The different versions of Photoshop that I used throughout the
task include: Photoshop Elements, Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop
CS6.

3.  Prezi was a program that I never knew existed before I started the
task, however know it is a program that I like using and a
program that I will most definitely use in the future.
 It is a much better alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint. Its
graphics are much better and its free. It was also able to be
presented straight onto the Wikispace, this meant that I didn’t
need to take screenshots of it.
 I used Prezi to do my genre research and my audience research. It
allowed me to present my findings in a nice presentable way.

4.  For some of my photos I used an SLR camera, this was the first
time I had used a camera of the sort. At first I found it very
challenging, this is because I never realised that you had to adjust
the focus before taking the picture, but after realising this I was
able to take some good photos, as is evident on the Wikispace.
 Another problem I had to overcome was with the zoom. I didn’t
know how to zoom in and zoom out. However, once I had learnt
how to, I was able to take good photos with varied zoom levels.

5.  Furthermore, Wikispace was an online forum where we had to
showcase all the work that we had done. I had heard about it
before we started the task but I hadn't really used it.
 When I started using it for the task I was surprised at how easy it
was to navigate. The features were reminiscent of blogger which I
was really familiar with. So basically whenever I uploaded work
onto the Wikispace, it felt as if I was blogging.
 There were a few obstacles I had to overcome when using the
Wikispace however. Sometimes other peoples work would
randomly appear on my Wikispace, this was because we had
given our files the same name, I overcame this barrier by putting
my name at the end of my files so that it would not get mixed up
with other peoples files.

6.  Finally, Microsoft Publisher is also program that I used during this
task. I used it when making my Double Page Spread Draft. I chose
to use publisher instead of Photoshop because I felt that the
publisher fonts were better.
 My knowledge of Publisher was sufficient for me to be able to
produce a high quality double page spread.
 The techniques I used in publisher included: cropping, removing
backgrounds, and editing images.
 I used the cropping tool when I had to make the image into the
DPS page format and I had to edit the image of Lex Luger in order
for it to cover the whole page.
