The author learned several new technologies through making a film for their media course. They gained experience using cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment while filming. They also learned how to use editing software like Adobe Premiere Elements and GarageBand to combine footage, audio, and effects. While there were challenges along the way, the author believes working through problems helped improve their skills and allowed them to produce a film they were happy with.
