- 1. Using quark express to create my Double Page spread and contents page. This software was very simple to use and it also create a very professional magazine page. This software can be used for many different presentations. It is easy to write text, upload images and make it look professional by the effect and fonts that is uses.
- 2. Photographer I have taken lots of different images for my magazine. I have tested different cameras as they all do different effects and different models as to which is right for my music magazine. The first model I decided not to use as the location wasn’t right as the backgrounds were to dark. I used the second images for my double page spread as I felt the camera picked up the light well and he was the main focus of the image. The next image I did use for my front cover as I gained experience from the first images and took them on a plain background.
- 3. Journalist http://www.ipcmedia.com/nme I did lots of research before creating my own music magazine. I looked into other existing music magazines such as NME and the company that create it. IPC media creates lots of magazines and other media projects. It gave me lots of information such as the target audience, how many viewers there are and all the publishing details.
- 4. Photoshop I did use Photoshop to create my front cover. I had to learn lots of tools and how they were used such as the paint brush. Cutting pictures and creating my own background.
