The document discusses technologies used in constructing a media product. It summarizes that the student learned about using different technologies effectively, including a camera and tripod to capture footage using various movements, iMovie to edit sequences through cutting, expanding, and adding sound and transitions, and a blogger site to publish the media product online and track progress. Each technology was successfully used to make an effective media product when applied properly.

If I was asked... \'What Would I Do If I Had One Day To Alter The Future of Design\' ...this is What I would Say.
My contribution to AIGA\'s One Day For Design...
The introduction of canaloplasty into the glaucoma surgical armamentarium was motivated by the desire of clinicians to enhance the quality of patients’ glaucoma care. Patients’ long-term adherence to topical glaucoma medical therapy is well known to be relatively poor. Laser therapy offers a safe alternative to medical therapy but often still requires the addition of topical medication. Traditionally, glaucoma filtration surgery has been reserved for more advanced, uncontrolled glaucoma for obvious reasons. Despite its definite role in glaucoma care, patients undergoing standard trabeculectomy are at significant risk for the development of postoperative infection, cataract, hypotony, bleb dysesthesia, astigmatism, and decreased visual acuity. These potential complications have driven surgeons to pursue surgical alternatives. Canaloplasty is a well-established procedure that has, for the past 3 years, demonstrated impressive efficacy and safety in peer-reviewed prospective studies. Despite growing evidence of its value and increasing performance of the procedure by ophthalmologists all over the world, misconceptions regarding its long-term efficacy as well as challenges in its adoption, surgical
technique, and patient selection persist. Several experienced and leading surgeons share their experiences and pearls for optimizing success with canaloplasty.

2. From the process of constructing this media product, I have learnt various
things about technologies and how they can be used in different ways to
make a media product effective.
Technologies can come in different forms but each can be successfully used
in the making of a media product when used well.
3. A camera and tripod help us to capture or opening sequence successfully using
various camera movements.
We learnt how to use a camera effectively as well as filming rules that are used in
the media industry (e.g. 180 rule). We also learnt about different camera angles
which can be used in a media product to convey a certain emotion, position,
situation etc. e.g. panning, Close up, high angle shot.
CAMERA &TRIPOD
4. IMovie was the main technological tool we used in order to edit our media product.
The construction of this media product was the fist time I used IMovie. It taught me
how to edit a sequence in various ways.
I learnt:
• Editing
• How to cut and expand Media products
• How to limit jumpy scenes in a sequence
• How to add sound and transitions
IMOVIE
5. The blog was very helpful as it helped us to publish our media product online and
also keep regular entries of our journey through the construction of our Thriller.
Again, this is the first time I have used a blog, but I found it useful and effective. It
helped me to keep track of our progress through out the process. It also taught me
how to publish various things to a wider audience.
