The student used a wide range of new media technologies throughout the creation of their advanced portfolio. Final Cut Pro was used for editing video clips, layering sound, dialogue and soundtrack. YouTube provided research and inspiration. Blogger presented thoughts and progress. A 600D SLR camera allowed for changing lenses and a fold-out screen. New media technologies played an integral role in planning, production, post-production and evaluation, benefitting the overall outcome.
UX + Agile: A brief overview on integrating user experience practices with Ag...Juliana Dorneles
I've presented this talk for a client in Los Angeles, CA during the kick-of of a new project. The intent of this presentation was to create a common context and shared vision on how we approach the UX role within an agile environment developing software.
In layman’s terms, a minimum viable product (MVP) is a product with just enough features to validate a product idea by attracting early-adopter customers. The American entrepreneur, Eric Ries formulated the concept of MVP as the early stage of the product development cycle to collect user feedback on a product or idea, with the least possible effort.

Access Uniface applications anywhere. A cost-effective approach to scalable application deployment on the web. Harness the rich user interface of client server applications and deploy them on the web, or in the cloud.
Uniface has strategic strengths that mean your application not only gets developed (or migrated to the web) fast, but will also have a long and productive life, adapting to whatever business and technology changes lie ahead.
At this talk, as a front-end developer, I'll share my experience from WordCamp Europe 2019. What were the key releases at the event? Gutenberg was my favourite subject for sure, then other front-end web technologies such as AMP, PWA and web components.
In this presentation, I will discuss the release of AMP plugin 1.2, and what is new in Gutenberg 6.0, what are the break changes in this version, and more

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
How to Create Map Views in the Odoo 17 ERPCeline George
The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
1. Evaluation Question 4
How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning
and evaluation stages
2. • The use of modern media technologies have made my advanced portfolio possible. without some of this
tech, it would not be possible to create a production as high quality as our finished piece. New media
technologies have not only helped in providing us with information and inspiration for our production, but
have also given me a platform to present my work in a number of ways. I used a wide range of new media
technologies during the creation of my Advanced Portfolio; some were used sporadically for specific needs
and some were consistently used at every stage of production.
3. Final Cut Pro X
• Having experience with final cut in my previous
year i was able to extend my knowledge and
understanding of this software. where laborious
hours of editing are valuable as they give you
much needed experience. with every new skill
learned on this software you find yourself using
that skill to improve both the production and the
ease that you can use the software
• Final Cut Pro was used to edit our main
production. After using Adobe premiere pro for
our AS production moving on to a different
software ambitious with our post production such
as through colour grading. We used Final Cut to
both cut and edit our video clips, but also to layer
the foley sounds, dialogue and soundtrack to
create the finished piece.
4. Youtube was used throughout our A-level course, mostly used as a
research and informative tool. Youtube having such a vast amount of
content which approximately adds up to 819,417,600 hours of video,
there is a video for just about everything. Videos that consist of anything
from tutorials on how to use software, videos for inspiration and to help
explain evaluative point for our Advance portfolio have all been used
throughout the course making youtube an integral part of media sharing.
Thus making youtube a major part of our course.
5. Blogger
Blogger is the platform in which we present our thoughts of
our production where it can be made visual the progress
from start to finish. It shows our thought process and puts
our ideas on an easy to use personal web page which can
be made to our liking.
6. 600D SLR camera
This camera differed from the simple digital camera used in
my AS production its features consist of being able to easily
change leses to fit the scene which was helpful as there
was a variety of shots used throughout the sequence. It had
a fold out screen display which we could use instead of the
view finder which was useful when using the rig, camera
slider and the glide cam.
7. New media technologies played an integral and irreplaceable part in the
production of my Advanced Portfolio. It has been ever present
throughout the planning, pre-production, production, post-production and
evaluation stages. The ways in which I have used new media
technologies have most certainly benefitted the overall outcome of my
Advanced Portfolio. They have allowed us to produce a production that I
believe is quite professional, and enabled me to share our progress in
almost real time.
