For this question, we kept it quite simple.
We used a news report and went on to ‘The
Brolin and Charlie Show.’

 Also,

I used ‘imovie’ software to edit all of
my research and evaluation questions. I
like this software but it isn’t as good as
‘Final Cut Pro.’ However, it is simpler to
use and having practised with it last year, I
have a very good understanding of how it
works and it works very well for other tasks
other than our main video that had to be
edited using Final Cut Pro.
 Having

focussed on the main camera used
when filming the main video, I also used other
cameras to film behind the scenes and more
analysis. I used a blackberry camera which
was an utter shambles, it was so poor that the
footage couldn’t be used and I had to use
‘photo booth’ on a Mac to create the videos
which was much easier to use and edit
however much less private and accessible to
me. But it was a solution to a problem I
encountered.
 In

my research stages, I discussed using
wix, blogger, microsoft and different
cameras. I also used different software on
the internet including ‘Youtube’ and ‘prezi.’
Youtube is great as you can upload videos
and view whatever you like. It’s very
efficient and effective in research.



I also used ‘Goanimate’ when creating my first
evaluation question. This was tough and had it’s
problems. I couldn’t get the character to move so it
does look somewhat boring. I also had issues with
speech. If I were to write in the ‘dialogue box’ the
characters voice was generated and
computerised, so myself and Brolin had to record
our voices on a video, upload it to youtube and
then download it using Mp3 Converter as a sound
file to put it onto the cartoon. This took quite a lot
of time. But it’s worth it as it’s fun and unique which
is what I strive to achieve in creative work.
