2. What have you learned from your audience
feedback?
■ When conducting our audience feedback, we all handed out separate questionnaires
and collected lots of information, that allowed us to start forming and shaping the sort
of genre that we should pick and what sort of music video we would then create. By
having these independent studies it allowed us to see all the different themes we
could pick from. I then collected my results and then created graphs which made
looking at the data very simple and the rest of the group did that also, so that when it
came to picking we could look at all the genres that were popular and then the ones
that weren’t, so we could pick an popular genre that would fit to a wide target
audience. By doing this it made the process simple to picking.

6. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
■ After we done this, we then created a questionnaire which we handed out to our focus
group, these questions were brought from all of our old questionnaires and this was
created to make our research become more fine to helping us create the ‘look’ for our
band. But also at the focus group we handed out designs for our websites and digipak
designs and this was to see what the target audience liked the best, as getting this
input will really allow us to make our ancillary texts fit the audience we are targeting.
When we collected the results from the focus they were very positive and it helped us
a lot, as when it came to creating the ancillary we knew what colours and images to
use on our digipak and then for the website we knew what to feature and what not to
feature.

8. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
■ The main thing I learnt from audience feedback was that, when asking people for their
views as being a part of the target audience for the genre we wanted it was very
important to listen to their input as, if this band were to become a real band then they
would be the audience that would be buying their albums and go on their websites
and buy their merchandise.
