IPC MEDIA
• To ensure my magazine sells and is popular I
would target a publishing company such as
IPC Media. IPC Media has produced major
titles such as NME, which is a extremely
popular music magazine. I would choose this
particular company because to date it ‘is the
UK’s leading consumer magazine and digital
publisher.”
Time Inc.
• Time Inc. is the parent company of IPC Media,
it is a subsidiary of the media conglomerate
Time Warner. On its own Time Inc. publish 130
magazines
These companies might advertise in my magazine because we share a
similar target audience of mainly youths. The image of my magazine can be
linked with these brands because they are both popular with youths.
Online presence
My magazine is more likely to do well if it is advertised online
because my target audience are likely to be online often.
Social media is a good promotion method; it will draw
attention to your product because the internet is so popular
today. The logos above belong to some of the best social
media websites.
