2. To decide which programme I
Which programme do you like best? would make a parody out of, I
asked people of my age, which
6 shows they watch the most.
Using this, it enabled me to see
a clear decision that TOWIE is
4 watched the most, therefore
more people will understand
the parodies.

Due to basing my product on
TOWIE, YouTube features
with a ‘suggestion’ bar, this
allowed me to look at other
products that the audience
also watch, therefore making
it easier for me to create
research. By suggesting other
video’s, YouTube allows me
to browse in a winder
area, and help make find
things that I might not have
found.
3. 3. What have you learned from
Audience feedback?
By asking people what they thought about my rough cut, it
gave me a chance to do some tweaking before I finished my
final piece. By using other people, I am asking the audience
that this is being shown to, which is teens around the age of
18. since they’re the ones watching it, then they know what
they are looking for and what appeals to them, this way I can
directly change my product to their specifications.
I also recorded some of my classmates giving their opinion on
my work, I recorded them using QuickTime. By doing this I
had proof of audience feedback, and it also allowed me to
change things on my final product. Luke told me the cuts
weren’t sharp enough and that I needed to make them in time
with the music.
4. By showing my audience the cast list and
costumes I could see their reaction before the
product was even started, to make sure that
we’ve got everything right. As if I did audience
feedback after filing, it would be a large waste of
time, this is because if I wished to change
something i would have to re-film.
By using twitter, I could follow the stars of
TOWIE, and relate to them while filming, I could
look at some of the things he said and replicate
the attitude he has in my video.
