1. ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM
PCs4Vets, is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization , a
SDVOB, and a Microsoft refurbisher, that provides
ongoing programs to help veterans and their
family members by providing FREE computers,
software, and educational training
2. A new Green program started in Sept.
which enables veterans to secure a Microsoft
refurbisher license/agreement
3. This includes OJT and classroom training for
refurbishing and basic small business startup for
veterans interested in having their own
refurbishing or recycling business.
4. This program includes e waste weekend events that
provide a drop off point and proper disposal of e
waste for anyone in the community wishing to get
rid of their e waste, for FREE.
5. The events are multi purposed as they will directly
support veteran education and continuation of
veterans being supplied with free computers and
software which we provide them.
6. It will also save the community members the time
and expense of finding a site that will accept e waste
and the fees that are typically charged by the site

7. This project will provide an income stream as well
as an ongoing base of used computers to refurbish
for any veteran successfully completing the
program and wishing to start their own business

12. GREEN INITIATIVE

In all, a 59 pound computer with a monitor takes about
139 pounds of e waste, 7300 gallons of water, and 2300
kilowatts to produce.
That is before the computer is even turned on.
13. We are interested in adding coordinating partners
to help establish sponsors for free ongoing
e waste pickup and for e waste weekend events.
14. All partners will participate in profits and have an
opportunity to manage designated e waste drop off sites,
providing an unlimited residual potential income.
15. PCs4Vets will provide our protocol, start up
support, and all available resources of our
partners.
