Q3 – WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNED FROM YOUR
TA FEEDBACK
OCTOBER – TA Focus Group
Research
My partner and I created a list of questions to ask ourTA group.
Some of them being basic questions to get a general idea of what our target
audience was interested in.We asked a range of questions going from what
colours would suit the age and genre as well as what kind of story would
they have liked to see. Some of the questions we asked we ‘Do you
understand the narrative?’The results we received were extremely helpful as
it gave us an insight in what we should include within the music video and
what to avoid.
November –TA Consumption
■ In November, my partner and I conducted a questionnaire to hand out to a range of
student throughout the Sixth Form about their general consumption of media
products. This was helpful as it would have influenced our planning of how to produce
and sell our music video. Here are a few questions with the results.

November –TA Consumption Results
■ The results we received from that questionnaire were better than
expected due to our previous plans and ideas for the music video.
Although some of the answers were obvious, we thought it was useful
to get a solid answer to justify our reason for making the music video
the way it was.
FlickrTA Response
We used Flickr as a way of showing theTA
the images we gathered and this allowed
the public to view and comment their
thoughts on the images. This was helpful as
it influenced our creativity by having
people opinions and advice for our advert
and DigiPak.This was also our way of
showing our progress off to the board and
public.
Overall Summary
■ In the end, the summary of ourTA feedback was extremely helpful as it influenced our
creativity as we had many ways for theTA to give their opinions and advice on what
worked and what didn’t. I feel that this was successful as because we had so muchTA
feedback, it allowed my partner and I to create a music video that suited the genre as
well as the audience.
